A little clarity; Ryan Garcia won this fight last night against Devin Haney! However, Garcia missed weight by 3.2 lbs, if memory serves correctly.
Garcia's weight miss did prove detrimental in one major way. Haney's WBC junior welterweight championship was supposed to be on the line in Brooklyn, but Garcia was not eligible to win the belt after missing weight; he has cost himself his first shot at becoming a world champion. Haney did lose the belt and it is now vacant!
Garcia did make at least $30,000,000.00 though, so there’s THAT

That's a LOT of consolation for losing his credibility.
However, to prove even the most honest can be bought, even I might cheat for 30,000,000 bucks! That's a LOT of zeros.

Also, it’s reported that Ryan put $2,000,000.00 on himself to win. He collected another $12,000,000.00 for winning the bet
