Friday July 12th - EFT and BR round 1

Sunday, July 14th. - Silhouette 100 yard for .22 and .25. 200 yard for calibers over .25. Not a speed event - this will be a double elimination format with two competitors shooting against each other and one will continue in the main bracket and the other will move to the second bracket. Awards for this immediately following the event.

We may try to have some side shoots also - split the pot KYL shoot or something similar.

Breakfast and lunches will be available for purchase from the Boy Scouts and 4-H clubs. Dinner on Saturday provided.

There are numerous things to do in the Williams area, including the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, Grand Canyon Railroad, Wild West Shootouts downtown, Canyon Coaster Rides and a great Downtown area.

Camping is available either on the Forest Service in the surrounding area, or at a number of local campgrounds. The closest one is Kaibab Lake Campground, less than a mile away. Here is a link for information. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/kaibab/recarea/?recid=11659 Reserve you spot soon as it fills up fast for that time frame.

More information to follow.

@Martin3528,
Just want to say I'm really liking the format and scheduling. PERFECT for me and my shooting interests.

And for those who have never been to Williams, Martin is 100% accurate about how neat of a little high elevation town Williams is. Tall Ponderosa pines everywhere. My family took a day trip over there late last summer and did some of the fun activities Martin mentioned above. And the elevation keeps the temps down, even in July.

I've got my PTO request in and approved, and excited to attend. Should be a great event.
