FX Here I am again

Ok, looking for a fun, which is subjective, grant you, compact rifle. The brocock atomic or ranger is a pistol carbine. I’m thinking a gasp 😱 FX Dreamtac compact. lol! Yes, I’m hesitant with FX only because of the multiple failure points- hypothetically! Many o rings, tendency for grub screws to work loose. Whatever, I had one that was fun, like almost all are. Is there any real contender in 22, that can shoot hades/ polymags in the mags, AND match the price point. The AAA mini is boss, but it’s a grand more. Who else matches the specs and delivers for price? TIA.

I offer not an answer to your question but instead a suggestion if you would humor me Mark . lol Take a leep of exploration and purchase a used MK II Crown ( skipping the dream -Tac ) and have some fun playing around with it . I predict that you may find yourself pleasantly surprised .

You of course have every right to tell me to kiss your backside and go away hahahaha . I still think that you may find a few things you would enjoy in this platform . Just open the wallet and jump right in my friend .. :ROFLMAO::p:coffee:

Common Mark you know you would enjoy some custom length Barrels and tuning adventures haha This barrel is in .25 cal .. I was bored one afternoon and have to many parts lying around in the extra bins haha.

I'm saving for the Wildcat compact M3bt in .22 It should shoot everything well including slugs. I have owned several FX rifles along with a few other brands and personally had no issues with any of them.
You won't go wrong with that gun (Wildcat MKIII BT .22 Compact). I answered a WTB ad and almost sold mine. I got it from UA, tested it and put it away. Went to check it a couple weeks later-very slow leak. Sent it back to UA. It was the front gauge. Got it back-rock solid. Put it away did not use it. When the buyer wanted it cheaper, I said to myself I never really tried it after it came back, so I thought before I sell it, I'm going to shoot it.
I never had a gun shoot everything I put in it so well. I shot the 15.89gr domes, 15.89 Hades, 18.13gr domes, the 25.39 Monster redesigned, and the .217 and .218gr Javelin slugs as recommended by Ted Bier On YT. In my test, the .217's were ever so slightly better. Group after group just amazed me. I wrote the buyer and told him the truth-that the gun shoots too good to sell. Of course, I put it away and haven't shot it since.

That gun just shot everything I put in it unbelievably well.

I had the MK2 compact in .22 and loved it but I also owned a couple other .22s so I gave it to my son. I miss it dearly lol.

That thing is so freaking cool. The second I saw it, I started conjuring stock mods...

Might I throw this into the mix?
Take a good look at the Huben K1 in .22 cal.
Short
Liteweight
Very versatile power range, from mild to wild
Very accurate, stupid accurate with the New JSB 28.55gr pellets. reg pressure at 150 and power wheel at 21 turns
Parts, if you ever needed them, are readily available in the USA through Kelly @ Krazcool, great dude
Oh and Fun, hell yeah semi auto fun!

There are 5 of them in our small group of guys ranging from a 2018, to my 2022 model. The Only work doen to any one of them is the small oring behind the bottle pressure gauge.
I do all the work on the guys guns
