When targeting the killer mice I prefer to use a caliber up a size or two. Bigger margin for error. If you've ever been charged by one of these things you know what I'm saying.
Ground Squirrels are .50 cal.I thought these days that .30 cal was used for mouse hunting. Or was it .30 for squirrels and .25 for mice. Anyways nice shot

He maybe should move up to .35(7) caliber , that would make it more deader ! It's easier to use a big gun small , than to use a small gun big , when pertaining to dangerous game !I always cringe when I see these type videos. Some noob with an under powered airgun trying to take an animal that should require much more gun, but getting a lucky shot.
Just frosts my arse to see such blatant disregard for an animal.

It is heartening to read that many here understand the seriousness of mice pesting… lots of hunters/pesters have been “mauled” badly. They don’t post up because it’s embarrassing to be beaten, nearly eaten by a mouse. To the OP, good shooting on that lil man killer…
