FX "Dirty" fx stock finish

So went to the field yesterday and as you can imagine it was hot, dusty and dirty.

Once i got home and checked my gear i noticed the stock of my wildcat mk3 had these blemishes from the sweat and just dust.

So decided to coat the stock with bedliner paint as i had prev covered my kral puncher breaker stock with it and really liked how it performed.

Anyone else had this issue or have any thoughs on this?

Can't speak to the finish on yours, but the mk1 fx crown syn. Stock I had had a very nice factory finish. I've coated some like this, but I preferred the finish on that stock many times over compared to this type of finish. Of course the liner spray i used was a different brand and may have come out entirely different.

Nothing against those who "EZLiner" stocks, as long as the coating stays put. Personally, the fit and feel of my MK3 Wildcat stock is a big plus, wouldn't dream of modifying. WM

Looks much better in person and has a "stippled" feel to it for much better grip.
As far as prep work, i simply went over the OG finish with sand paper and cleaned it with a towel.

This has stayed put on my kral for more than a year since its bedliner so no scratches either.

Same questions as Ramjet, prep, application? Thinking about my FX Bobcat stock. Yours turned out sweet.

I found wiping down with household cleaning wipes, the kind in the pop-up container, leaves a nice clean, smooth, no residue feeling to FX synthetic stocks.

Novel idea and better looking than the synthetic stocks sold on guns
