Benjamin Benjamin Sheridan C Series Rebuild. Help Please.

Hello all. Got my tool kit and Henry Ford rebuild kit in.

Got it all tore down, but Im confused as to how it goes back together. If some of you guys could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

The rifle: Which only says C series and not blue streak (If that matters)

What came out is on the bottom and the replacement parts on the top.
What I dont know, is where the plastic washer and where the rubber washer goes.
Also, it seems I had 2 steel washers? Most the videos I saw only had 1....or is 2 back to back correct?

Is it safe to assume the rubber one goes on the valve pin side and the hard one replaces the lead washer?

Thanks guys.

Good job! It can be tricky getting the valve retaining nut threaded in straight. When I did mine I shaved of a little sliver of brass and it got stuck in the valve-I had to disassemble and reassemble to remove it but it came together in the end and shoots strong now. Did you do the refinish? Looks good.

Thanks guys. It was definitely a little frustrating getting that valve nut seated :D

On the finish, the wood was in great shape already luckily.

I just lightly sanded the poly coat and put a fresh satin coat on it.

Here is my small Benji collection. Next challenge is this old beat 312!

Its a little tricky to align the valves on the Benji. It has one hole for the exhaust port that has to align with the transfer port..
The Sheridan valve is designed to avoid that critical alignment. It has a groove that the exhaust valve ports dump into that align with the transfer port naturally.
