Know Your Limits! by Target Forge

Target Forge's KYL target system proves that it has what it takes to have a place in my yard! It's a keeper!

BTW... through the course of using and reviewing this target, I found some weak areas with the original setup. I called Bill (the owner) and made some suggestions. Within days, he decided the changes were feasible and now, the KYL system has been upgraded to give all of you a better, more controllable, and reliable product for your money!

Happy Shooting!

Bill stopped making them the last I looked. I’m bummed he did. I bought his 4 target version, I wanted to upgrade. This is one that I’ve found.

These are Great targets. I have had mine for almost 2 years now.

I did run into an issue with the PVC/ Plastic spacers deteriorating, basically the Texas heat ate them up.

So I made up the spacers out of aluminum on my CNC lathe. The system is much more precision and there is zero "wobble" between the targets.

This system is one of our shooting groups favorite and has held up Very well other than the spacers...

I built one that is holding up fine in my yard. I used the corner brackets for metal conduit from Target Forge but made my own swinging targets and spacers. The spacers are PVC pipe. The targets are 1/4 inch smooth rod from the big box store bent around 3/4 inch black iron pipe (which is a little bigger than 3/4 conduit). I then welded on washers to the rod. I stacked the washers to get a reasonable thickness and tacked the edges. My airguns are all 50 fpe or less but it is not damaging them. I found washers from 2 inches to 3/4 inch and used a 5/16 nut for the 1/2 inch and just the bare rod for 1/4 inch target. Wasn't at all expensive and didn't take that much time.
