FX Dreamline valve won't seal - mystery solved

Ok, mystery solved......but not fixed yet. The challenging part was it's really hard to see inside but finally noticed that the valve doesn't even seat onto the seat so it will never seal! After taking out the hammer and shine a light inside and the answer is clear. The surface of the action where the valve pin pokes out has been deformed which prevented the valve pint to push out of the hole so the hammer can strike it. I tried to clean it up a little but didn't want to mess up the action more so gave up and going to send it to UtahAir to get it fixed.

Hi, did you manage to solve the air leak problem? I have a fx dreamline with the same problem, new valve also leaking, apparently not sealing in the saddle cone.
Did you try & load a couple of pellets into the barrel & push the cocking lever & pin probe against the pellets gently to try & seal the transfer port as you fill the gun?

Please keep in mind that the safety is on & the barrel is pointed in a safe direction as you try & do this.

I tried everything. The issue was the hole/passage where the valve pin should poke out is deformed enough to prevent the valve pin to come through at all, the valve can not close due to the blockage. Thankfully Utah air took care of my buddy's power pup and it's all good. Gotta love FX warrantee and service even though it's through Utah air now.
