Just curious if it's worth having around for $45 or is better to get the hill pump from aoa for 180? This would be for emergency needs only .

Most seem to agree the inexpensive Chinese handpumps do as well, or better, than the expensive ones. WM

I've been using a cheap Chinese hand pump exclusively for a few years now. Had to replace one O-ring after the first year. Otherwise I've had no issues. Rebuild kits for them are cheap on eBay too. Chinese manufacturing quality has come a long way in a very short period of time.

I have the vevor that everyone is selling right now. It’s not great and it’s harder to pump than other cheap hand pumps I have.

Owned Hill, FX ( a couple of gens) and the Vevor pump - 2 of them one for a back up that's still NIB after 8 years-.
NO reason to pay more at all, you might link to the exact model you are looking at.
