HW/Weihrauch New springer on the way

I decided to get a springer again after selling my rws34 I shot when I was a kid and felt like I was missing a springer in my life.

After researching this forum to death I pulled the trigger on a hw97k from AoA. They are going to ship it with a vortek pro guide 4 tuning kit installed. I ordered a Sportsmatch dm70 for a Athlon Optics 214105: Helos BTR Gen2 2-12X42.

Pretty excited. This should be extreme overkill of a setup for me!!! It will all be here next week. Now I get to be tortured waiting for it.

150$. Seemed a lot easier to just do it now before they ship it vs. trying to find somewhere to do it later. The reviews here of it are really good and you can really hear the difference it makes watching the pre vs post install videos that are out there. Never would have known to do this without this forum!

I'd just shot the stock spring out first. I hate to have someone tamper with a new gun .

I guess you could just do it yourself ?

150$ parts and labor maybe not too bad I guess.

Anyway ol'hw should do the job .. mine do so Enjoy!

97K was my first springer and very accurate, I would never sell it. It will shoot several pellets really good, but the best were jsb exacts 8.44 ( white label),before they started to get small and fit loose in the bore. I now shoot QYS 8.48 and they are really good. Never had much luck with heavies in my rifles.
You will need to keep a check on the stock screws until they settle in. Enjoy.✌🏻

great choice , run a few patches thru b4 you shoot, Always good to do on a new gun . Even if it was tuned , and yes keep a EYE out for loose screws , the wood fibers settle in as you shoot Kind of pounded in place if you think about it .

I spoke with AoA yesterday, and if his German translation was good, Ill be getting my .20 cal 97k bl next week! 👍
