Umarex Gauntlet 30

Benny,
Recently, went to shoot JTS Airacuda Max, only click pulling trigger. Both gauges showed sufficient pressure. De-gassed, disassembled, found broken poppet valve (pictured). JTS sending replacement, under warranty, used Crazy Glue for test repair, after overnight dry, re-installed, aired up, working again. Hajimoto has tear-down videos for Gauntlet, check it out if you're going in. WM

Bought MAX from Pyramyd Air in October 2022, JTS just asked for copy of receipt to warranty parts. If Gauntlet is brand new, might consider contacting Dealer for warranty return. Hajimoto sells an upgrade kit (including new poppet valve) for Gauntlet One, producing an installation video to go along. Not sure what he's done regarding Gauntlet 2 but installation video for G1 upgrade kit should be helpful. Best of Luck, WM

I’ve been talking with UMAREX, yesterday they asked if I tried de gassing removing the tank depressing the valve I did it then replied back that I had and no response. It’s only 3 months old if they aren’t going to warranty it I’m going to contact hajimoto and have him fix it and make it so it’s easier to load slugs. I really appreciate your patience and help there’s just nothing on the G30 I can find

Chinese produced airguns offer great value, just a roll of the dice you get a good one with their iffy QC. Homerun with my Gauntlet, struck out with Airacuda Max. Three months old, I'd try Dealer for resolution, too. Brand new Uragan 2's "balanced valve," lasted few months, turned out AGT had re-designed the part, just weren't going to recall dealer stock to retrofit. Cost me to ship back to Krale for re-designed part, under warranty. Hajimoto will take care of you if you go that route. Best of Luck, WM

So I know it’s been awhile on this post but I wanted to provide an answer. I sent it Hajimoto productions they gassed it and it sat for 3 days no pressure loss. When they went to degass the rifle wouldn’t degass so they degassed another way and checked the gas hole and found a 2-32 piece of o ring had been sent down the line and wedged blocking off the air.
I want to thank everyone who tried to help me get my rifle back up and running again and Hajimoto productions for their fast response and great explanation of the problem.
