The M3 uses a unique fill port (part #16303) that you will need to get directly from FX. I don't think I have ever seen one of those go bad, are you sure that is your problem?

based on your picture it looks like the port has been bent? It looks off center to me, and in that case I can understand it no longer connects.
It could be the perspective of the picture as well however.

Agreed, more likely a female foster fails over a stainless-steel fill port. The K&L Gen 2.2 trigger guard offers a slightly larger fill port opening but I'd say the female foster (pictured) really made the difference for solid lockups. WM

If you fill your gun from a bottle and don’t slowly bring the line pressure up to match the pressure that’s left in the gun, you’ll start to damage the foster. The little bearings in the quick disconnect slamming into to foster starts to eat away at it and cause burrs that make even connecting difficult. Just slow down your filling, it’s not a drag race.

I don’t mean to hijack this thread but have a somewhat related question..

My FX M3 fill port sits under an extended Sabre rail. My pcp pump connector is too large to fit through the hole to attach to the fill port.

Is there an easy solution I am overlooking?
Picture of PCP pump connector and fill port (under extended Sabre rail) might help, hard to visualize, as described. WM

i think DonnyFl sells a longer (extended ) version , i purchased angled one from a member on this forum(jerrymail) but he has health problems & i haven't heard from him for a long time ..
Something like this? I was checking this specific one out, but am questioning if this extended adapter will fit though the hole as this looks essentially the same as my pump fitting..
Thanks for help, I’m fairly new to PCP..

I can take some tomorrow after work, but if you look at the photo in post 1, that’s similar to what I have going on, except it’s a small round hole and the fill port sits down inside. I’m currently using a hand pump and the quick adapter will not fit through that hole. I plan to upgrade to electric pump soon but I assume the adapter will be the same size?

Edit: so mine also has the oblong opening as seen in photo one, but it’s just a little too narrow for my pump connector to get through. It looks like in post 7 that someone here slightly widened the opening

Common complaint by M3 owners, with, or without, Sabre Tactical or K&L extended trigger guards. Purchase extended adapter pictured in Post #6. The male foster end will fit in any standard hand or electric pump female foster fitting, then retract outside knurled area and insert on M3 recessed fitting. WM
