I finally tagged my coyote #8 but...

Well, I went back to the farm today to check the trail cam footages. Oh my goodness, another coyote was spotted with the trail cam. It was there just a night after I had shot coyote#8. It was seen busy digging and feeding on the calves carcass. I guess with the Alpha one missing in action, this one took over this prime feeding spot where dead calves were regularly buried. Unfortunate for the farmer to have so many still born calves lately.

I have seen three coyotes frequent this location since last year. I shot one back in June of last year (coyote #7) and my last mysterious disappearing of coyote #8. So this one must be the remaining survivor of the pack, if the last one didn't survive the head shot that is.

The farmer had buried two more still born calves yesterday so I am hoping the coyote will return either tonight or tomorrow. I will need to get lucky again to stalk and encounter with one. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to spot one in my cross hair and squeeze off a kill shot. Rest assure that I will have follow ups to boot.

Here is the trail cam footages. Wish me luck.

Max I don't know about these exploding pellets. But if they penetrate a 3/8" thick board before exploding, they should work well. Otherwise just a surface flesh wound. They would have to be tested and they are very expensive pellets.

What they do to a chipmunk.

It's surprising that this guy hasn't been banned on youtube for animal cruelty. I was for just showing what Victor Rat traps do to rats. Something millions of people do every year.
