Shot a little this morning in pretty nice conditions. Never held more than around 2" either side.

New .875" barrel HPX using the FX redesigns from the tin.

Was playing with the tuner looking for best vertical.

25 shot groups.

The last group would be an easy 249 on the RMAC 100y card. All would be into the 240s. I'm real happy with things.

Here's what 25 shots at 50 looks like.

Awesome shooting Mike. Is that a pellet or slug barrel? Is the black adapter held on with grub screws? Do you use the same tuner settings at 50 and 100Y?
It's a pellet barrel....but the slug barrel is the same size. The adapter is actually a muzzle brake. It's machined as a fairly snug fit and used two set screws on the bottom.

89 shots had the ability to touch the RMAC 10 ring if the wind was read correctly. 1 shot of 90 only the potential to be a 9 with a solid wind call. That is what it takes to give the shooter the best chance. Vertical wins matches.

The outermost ring is almost the same size as the RMAC 9 ring....fyi. The RMAC is .035" larger.

Impressive. What velocity are you pushing these at?
I hesitate to report velocity because then people get the idea that it's somehow a magical speed. These pellets are extremely tolerant to a very wide range of speed from 875-1025. They will produce outstanding accuracy anywhere in there if you have the system all correct. If someone's gun does great with these at 930...it's likely because that's where the best system tune happens to be. It's a guarantee that it could do just as well at a different speed with the proper adjustments.

That said...I usually set my guns for customers on the high side because I'm tired of hearing that they think the gun needs to go faster. If someone gets beat by someone else going faster...that must be the reason. If someone gets beat by someone shooting slower...they won't want to go slower. It's a guarantee. Nobody ever wants to go slower.

I would like for the wind to go slower.

The speed range is helpful, thank you. I have a gun Im planning to tune for long range with these pellets.

I’m probably going to shoot with my LabRadar running to keep track of actual ballistic coefficient - higher velocity is no help if your BC plummets. At least that’s the heuristic I’m figuring on for now. I’m a rookie at this.
