FT Wonderland

It was a wet day in Mobile Al but we still set up a rather elaborate backyard course. Just two shooters but still good fun.
The Crossman HFT Challenger performance was amazing using Benjamin 10.5’s

I always thought the Crossman Challenger might make a good, somewhat less expensive FT rifle. What FPE are you shooting it at, and how did you tune it up to that level?

Chas
Shooting <20 with Benjamin 10.5's since i shoot HFT only. However @Airgun-Revisions can set it up according to your needs. I'm a big believer in using a talented tuner.
See my thread from last week: https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/why-a-super-tuner.1308677/#post-1700609
Different gun as the one pictured above was built by Airgun-Revisions according to my needs... he is also building me a 3rd Custom HFT Challenger as i type.

I have a Challenger HFT from Airgun Revisions and it shows a lot of promise. I have some minor complains but it has a very nice trigger, it is quiet, and it shoots well so far indoors. A friend of mine got his first and he reports that his is very accurate out o 55 yds. Don't confuse it with a $4000 dollar rifle but it seems to be a really good value.

I think you would discover that the HFT challenger once addressed by Airgun-Revisions (tuned) would perform as well as many 3k ft rigs

A great report .. tho said ... can't see a PLASTIC stock having the rigidity required for a serious & skilled FT competitor
Said jokingly: "I'm neither serious nor skilled" but i sure do have a grand time on an FT course with great peeps. My favorite competitor is in my head... that's the guy who always beats me silly. Ohhhh @Motorhead that TM1000 pistoli rocks and it is so much easier to load a .20 pellet! I might have to get a TM1000 rifle in .20... be on the look out for me.

Hey cavedweller, how did you get the special Crosman stock? I too love my @Airgun-Revisions HFT Challenger and my @Airgun-Revisions PFT Prod, both shooting the Benjamin 10.5

The Stock Belongs to a 1 of 1 Marauder that was a prize offered by another airgun forum and Crossman made the very first one of one HFT Marauder rifle with a sidelever cocking action.... Crossman had it hydro dipped as part of the 1 of 1 thing - i do not know where it was hydro dipped, but rumor has it that Crossman will soon be offering these hydro dipped stocks for sale??? I personally think the hydro dip needs a sealer or i'm expecting it to rub/wear off.
i just got lucky when the grand prize winner decided to sell it i bought it. If you haven't had Airgun-revisions do a tune on your challenger it is worth every penny. I am curious about your choice of pistol scope?

It is good to be lucky! Both guns are from Rich @Airgun-Revisions ...... Pistol scope? ;-) ... Pistol Field Target is new to me, so I repurposed my Bushnell Match Pro to practice with. I like the size of the reticle set at 12X and "modified" a UTG sidewheel to fit it.
