Why so many used FX Impacts for sale?

I think because of YouTube influencers they went mad then people realised yes they can be good but if you start turning knobs and dials and you don’t know what you are doing things can very quickly go south , then they have many point where they can leak .
If you want something you can buy and just shoot buy a raw or an Agt

Or a new FX DRS!
Simple is a great thing, and the Crown, Royale, Boss, Dreamline, and T12, are all great examples.
Hopefully, FX reliability will return to the pre Impact era, and enthusiast will spend more time shooting, and less time twisting and turning knobs!

Not saying they aren’t good and when they are on they are excellent but it’s keeping it there .
Do two tests
Put the butt between your legs grab the front of gun and twist , the chassis will move both ways .
Take off your scope with the std Picatinni rail just loosen the three screws only half a turn and see how much movement there is in that part alone . If and it’s a big if you can stop the flex in the gun and you can then it would be excellent.
I sold six of the things just lost interest in them .
First thing I bought was a Raw HM1000x no it won’t keep up with the impacts power but it will do the same thing every time you get it out .
Then I bought my Epoch this is simply bloody excellent in every way
Then the Agt again just works every time
Do I want another fx , no well not an impact

Yessir, way more wins with Impact alone than all of the other older FX's I'd bet.
They certainly do win competitions and if I were to enter a speed shooting competition or a 100 yard target competition with real probability of strong winds and the winner receives big prize money, I wouldn’t use a sub12fpe single shot .177 . I would choose a gun with a fast shot cycle, with a big magazine with a big pellet and big power, not doing so would be a real handicap. However most competitions are not like that. How many impacts or any other rifles built along the same design principles) win, ft, hft, 25mt bench, 50mt bench or 10mt target? …..not many!
