Shooting tube Post deleted by OP

I want to thank the few that offered heartfelt and helpful contributions to the post. I have deleted it because of the truly ignorant, unfeasible, out of the parameters or just plain hateful and spiteful reply's.. I will remind others the reason for this forum is to help those who share the passion for airguns as I do, or are seeking guidance. I am sadden to see such nefarious and indecorous interactions playing out on this forum.
For the ones who offered helpful input, I have been shooting in my backyard since I bought the house (2013). It is no secret that I shoot there even had uniformed local P.D. shoot with us once. I am not trying to hide the fact I shoot here, just looking for a way to shoot year round in comfort and have a testing tube for accuracy without the interference of the elements.

See if you can find a demolition in a Mall or such. When Stores are changed, many times the duct work is removed.
That usually goes to be recycled by the demolition company doing the job. Offer them scrap price and them may just take it.
I've done that type deal many times all over the USA.

Many don't realize that the better one packs stuff in a dumpster? The more money they save! If you can get rid of stuff and not use dumpster space? You can make/save money.

build a frame and use Boat shrink wrap ( colors or clear ) you can buy any width and length as a roll , stands up to small branches

go to boat storage yard it is free in the spring off boats usually dark blue color.
EDIT : this set up might produce unintended heat waves in the sun ?

I would think that the trajectory would be in the < 1" range (depending upon pellet speed of course), so yes, 12 to 15" should be more than sufficient.

You might consider just using mounds of dirt/earth to elevate to your needed height or bury it if there is some sort of hill/embankment allowing you to sit lower than the tube. Duct might not be a good idea if buried, but your corrugated pipe will survive nicely since that's what it's made for. You would likely need to blank/cap each end, so animals don't think that it's a cool place to hang out!

Built my 150 yard shooting tunnel out of concrete Culverts. Go to batch plant where they build concrete culverts and those that don't meet specs are waste material and are a liability for space. Trucking costs are minimal since they want to get them out of the way.

With the exception of delivery they were free. Most of the time I used my trailer to haul into my property.

You need to have a trench pre-prepared and you need to have a way to move them to align them. Most of the time my ATV was sufficient but sometimes I used my F-250.

I backfilled using my ATV that has a snow plow on it. Just make sure you have a way to access the ranges that you shoot. Not hard if you get culverts that have been under spec with access points on the top.

You need to have lights on your targets at every range you plan on shooting but battery operated lights are easy to acquire and not expensive

Back It up.... You've got a 150 yard wind protected shooting pipe made out of concrete?!?!?!?!

What's the diameter? What's the situation at the shooting end? Buried Conex or just a depression in the ground? How do you keep this thing from filling full of rain water/snow melt/ground water?

Would love to hear more details.

I would say, few PVC pipes about an inch in diameter with 90 deg. elbows to connect them in a triangle shape stick them in the ground with a string or rope connecting their tops and a Dollar store party table top covers "the longest you could find!" on top as a tent.
with that you would have a long a$$ tent cheap as dirt, and if the wife get upset! teart it down with minimal loss!
i hope that would work for you! 😅👍🍻

I have heated workshop and shoot there all winter with my pellet guns keeps me out the house.lol, The ground slopes up away from my shop so the other end is about 8' under ground.I made a frame up with a 3/4" steel plate at the back and a couple of rollers on my lathe to fit a roll of meat wrapping paper on it. there is knife sharpener motor to roll the paper up when I turn a switch on and stop it when I have a clean sheet of paper to shoot at. I just shoot a pellet at it and then shoot at the pellet hole for a target then move over a couple of inches and shoot another hole and another 5 or 10 shot group. I can not change the distance only 30 meters. I was going to go 50 meters but had to dig over my water line to the house and I thought better of that.I only shoot .22 long rifle and pellet guns in the range.A roll of meat rapping paper will last me all winter and half the summer.Steve!
