Anyone bought a GX-CS4 from Aliexpress?

According to 1900Colt, if its on Aliexpress its FAKE, but the ones he sells on Ebay are REAL.
He reported ALL of them on Aliexpress, earlier today, yet has offered no means in which to differentiate real from fake.
I also told you to go buy one, but don't expect GX to fix it.

You have no clue how any of this works... from domains to how sellers operate on both platforms. Or for that matter.. thinking you can report a seller to Aliexpress and they will take it down🙄

Never told you to buy anything from me either.

Lots of claims by you.. even calling the official website fake at one point.

I'm not entertaining your comments or issues. Spend your money where you want. 🙂

Used to be a member who added the "laughing till you cry emoji," each time I posted a pic of my Yong Heng setup, that is, until a growing number expressed appreciation for how it helped them with ideas to set up their own. Some folks are just hard to figure, I guess. WM

You mean like he just did on my post on page 4?

Millennials, I tell ya...

No, this was a different member from a while back, never challenged what he found so hilarious, just stopped happening after so many thanked me for sharing the picture. I've no skin in the CS-GX4 program but do appreciate helpful members. We're all enjoying this hobby together, helping is what it's about. WM

OK...spent my money...bought the CS4.
Figured by the time I bought a YH, plus did a few mods I'd be only a couple of $100 short of just buying what I really want.
Now the waiting begins...but no PCP rifle yet, that's still in Germany.
I hope all you folks are right about the CS4 being an OK compressor (or better than just OK?).

Dont be fooled Gerry!
Based on another members experience here, with "smoke and shower of sparks", its not the clones we need to worry abaout! The "smoke and shower of sparks" came from a "OFFICIAL" product purchased from "GXPUMPOFFICIAL.COM".
Reguardless, the question remains as to whether or not they are the same identical compressor, or if there are differences, and if so, how to tell them apart.

This "official response" you mention.....
Did it come directly from GXPUMPOFFICIAL.COM ?
IF your "official response" came from gxpumpofficial.com, perhaps you could ask them why their domain name is registered with "Alibaba Cloud Computing Ltd. d/b/a HiChina" !
I believe Aliexpress and Alibaba are the same company, arent they?
GXPUMPOFFICIAL.COM is registered with Alibaba.
YES! It came from their "official" site.

So far CS4 owners seem happy, long-term success too early to tell. Curious as to what mods you considered for YH? Using external fan and several downstream filters but, except for replacement gauge, like out of box. WM

For the YH it was going to be mainly cooling mods. Extra fan, radiator, water cooled pipes for the air, and the extra air filters/water separator.
The nice Tuxing separator was $NZ120+ just as a start, without the radiator, fan, etc.
So I figured the CS4 is the way to go for me as I have very little space here (tiny unit in a retirement 'lifestyle' village).
I'm only 77, but one day when I get old this place will be right for me...but not at the moment although the Missus loves it.

My YH arrived today. Will tackle it tomorrow. Putting heat sinks on all tubing as before. Will do everything I did with last one & hope my method of babying it will bring similar results. Just a heads up.

Does metal ID plate show YongyIheng Pneumatic Company? If so, seller and where purchased. Thanks, WM
I believe, but could be wrong, that YH isn't putting those metal plates anymore. NONE of the examples I looked at show them and I looked at MANY. Even the sellers who are known to carry authentic ones don't show the i.d. tag in the pics any more.

I went here to look (it's the actual Yong Heng maker)....and found a pic that shows the plate.
https://www.alibaba.com/product-det...html?spm=a2700.shop_cp.61684.1.469462b67zcy3g
But I don't know...maybe now some have the plate, some don't?

Here's an authentic YH plate, note YongyIheng Pneumatic Company. Yong Heng replacement parts will fit on this compressor. China is different about patent protection than most, but I've never seen an ID plate with YongyIheng Pneumatic Company listed on a clone compressor. Possible that Chinese Patent law draws the line there. Usually, clones leave space blank, say, "Made in China," or list another manufacturer. A devious seller showed an authentic YH ID plate in ad, compressor delivered was a clone with another manufacturer listed on ID plate. Problem is consumer doesn't know until compressor is unboxed. WM

Let us know what you find.
Looked at the sellers on ebay you recommended, even their pictures no longer show I.D. tag. I'll keep you posted. I'm not TOO nervous about it due to warranty. At least, in the past, we had that tag for verification. How do we TRULY know now? As long as it works & gives me air I'll be happy. Even the seller I bought from last time (authentic, with tag) doesn't show the tag. One has to look at "specifications" & "brand" to make sure it says YH.
