Air Arms - rebrand, partnership, and new products!

Glad I already own my TX300 and HFT500.
When I was in the scuba bussiness it was incredible to learn that Italy was a manufacturing giant. And very high quality gear. Call it profiling but I never thought of Italy besides pizza, wine and a travel destination. I have never heard of anything in the manufacturing sector for India. Going to have to do some research regarding modern manufacturing there. I do know they have some incredibly intelligent people.

I highly doubt that all Air Arms manufacturing will move to the PreciHole facility. It will likely be a joint operation with the standard line (XTi, S400, S5xx, TX200, etc.) being made in the UK and other more "budget minded" options made by precihole and imported by AA. Just speculating, but that's what makes sense.

Bear in mind, the CZ200 (S200) that Air Arms distributed/imported was produced in the Czech Republic. Likely will be the same with PreciHole in India. From what I hear the price point on the X200 is ~500 pounds.

Look up pictures of the PreciHole factory. The capability looks INSANE. I think it would be unwise to make assumptions about the factory purely based on what country it is based in.

Very excited to see what is to come. Can't wait to get my hands on an X200. Might be my new Speed Silhouette gun with it's lefty side lever capability.

Cheers to AA.

I fear this is a sign of a softening airgun market. The last five years produced a flurry of new models and new technology. I'm guilty of participating in it and have bought and sold a lot of high end rifles. Now, I have plenty, even after selling off a lot of them, and my desire to buy more is almost gone. I can see this in the classifieds. Stuff just isn't selling very fast. While Air Arms produced excellent quality airguns (I have three), they really haven't introduced any upgraded technology or new models like FX does on almost a weekly basis. So, sales may be slow because why would I want to buy another rifle if I already have one??

My unregulated s500 has made me a lifetime AA fan.

The new logo makes me ashamed to be a marketing guy.

It’s obvious that the partnership is intended to get them access to lower budget customers. It makes sense.

I won’t buy one of the partnership guns unless there is something truly special.
My budget gun money will stay with the lego guns.
If the come out with an actual AA that is small and light, I may consider another expensive gun.

A 36" functionally shrouded 20 fpe tack driving carbine in that AA 410 style stock would definitely be a welcomed addition. Maybe they'll listen to the consumer...

I hope Air Arms hangs in there, stays where they are located, and continues producing great products, without going stagnant on us.
I saw some footage of the Shooting Show a few days ago, and the Air Arms spokesperson commented on wearing their new "uniforms".....
Not sure why, but wearing uniforms was a huge turn off for me.
Too "corporate-like" I suppose.

A few weeks ago, I seriously searched high and low for a brand new S410 / S510 sidelever carbine with thumb-hole stock.
None available here in United States.
The only way to get one, was to break out the credit card, order and commit, and then wait "aproximately 6 to 8 weeks", and we all know how that works......
At my age, I dont even purchase green bananans, let alone wait 2 months for something that cost $1700 and I dont need!
I hope that Air Arms continue providing great products going forward.
I wish they would increase the number of dealers or at least increase dealers current inventory levels.
Most importantly, I hope Air Arms dosent get stale on us and instead brings some fresh, new, and ground breaking products to the table soon!

Did some research on Precihole, nothing much other than sub 12 fpe, 177's. They make button rifling machines/ barrel making capacity. (https://www.precihole.com/ ) this is their parent company. Maybe, AA is partnering with them for barrels and some CNC machined aluminum parts. Wont be surprised if the production gets shifted to India from the UK. Quality is definitely going to be a point of contention, sharp edges, rough corners may be seen.
