I've never been a fan of wood stocks BUT that Grade 2 walnut stock looks Awesome !

Yes. Walnut, and Minelli walnut + pimp ( rosewood frontend )
I think i can make do with one of the 2 cheaper versions if it come to this, which i am beginning to doubt

PS. it is extremely rare i have money to burn and dont set them on fire, i might well do something stupid later in the year.

Looks like we will soon see some shooting of these, that's nice, Epic airguns should take note CUZ wayyy too little shooting of their Two on video.

One thing i would like to see is the different Plenum options laid out beside each other, i kinda hope Utah will do that to get them all under 1 listing.
Edit : PIC above sort of do that i see, i hope that middle size will be enough for the FAC PPL out there.

#2 Edit: it seem like by that picture above, all the versions can also come in 700 mm barrel length, that is nice

This picture may have some editing done to it?
It shows the different length plenums, and besides the physical length, they look very similar to me, although there may be some editing going on???
Somewhere I saw a photo, of a loose plenum, and it seemed very sturdy and well constructed....
Since the plenum is removable, it would have to be just as solid, and sturdy as any aluminum reservoir or bottle.
I dont know this for sure, but I imagine they will hold air when removed from the rifle.

Nice photoshop skills @Peashooter!

I think that will likely be how the 700mm version would look but personally if the gun is that long it would be mostly on the bench and I would prefer a chassis. Plus I personally really like the fact my airguns look quite different from regular guns so there is basically zero chance of me ordering a high power version of DRS. Obviously having a high power 700mm dynamic in my collection doesn’t help either.

Here is my artistic rendering of what one with a bigger plenum might look like. Yeah yeah, rifle isn't the FX DRS but chassi is basically the same...
Got the prices today: DRS Pro MDT 700 is €2875 whilst a DRS Classic Synthetic 700 is €1025
So as I said in another thread it's basically a €500 rifle in the €1600 chassi for the Pro...

Yeah it is one helluva prom dress on the DRS PRO.
But just like girls, when it come to the PRO modified class i am out, and the DRS PRO is a lot more than i need / want.

I wouldn't know photoshop if it fell on my head, i have only ever used MS paint, and for the most just to resize pictures.
Paint do feel extremely basic, perhaps why there is a MS 3D paint in windows 10, which i have not been brave enough to use yet.

Yeah that's the thing you see the rail, but if you want it, you will have to remember to order that on the side.

And i would want one CUZ i only have 1 set of dovetail rings, and those are used on my Hawke scope that mainly sit on my old Cyclone.
And of course the MOA compensation too CUZ i generally do not shoot distances where it would be more easy for me to just pick up a stone and throw it.

Next few months are going to be a pain for me, my piggy bank is pretty much ready to give birth to any of the rifles i am eying.
If i went with the DRS thou, i could also afford a nice scope, something i could not do if i went with the Epic airguns Two.

Now if FX also started to talk about making a slug barrel for .177 that would also be able to shoot heavy slugs, my life would become even more miserable for the foreseeable future, even if i already have a rifle such a barrel could drop right into.

Yeah it is pretty mind blowing, that is also one factor that make me not able to stop thinking about it, even if the regulator and hammer spring adjuster seem out of direct reach.
Actually my brain are already working over things that could change that, but so far the things it have come up with seem too crude.

So a DRS classic + a pretty nice scope, that will still be at or under the price i paid for my Maverick, and i will admit the DRS Classic look a lot better.

FX really put me on the spot here, but i will reserve the right to contemplate for a few more months, or that is maybe just until the DRS come in stock CUZ i would be nervous to miss out on a first batch.

IMO FX also put a lot of other brands on the spot if the DRS Classic shoot good too, others will have to dump price on what they got, or come up with something new and cheaper them self.

I assume FX them self or retailers of their stuff, also have some old inventory to sell out off, among that dreamlines ASO
CUZ if you are in the market for a regular / classic air rifle, well the DRS will negate a lot of options FX and other brands.

jävlar Svenska ( that is Swedish for Damn Swedes ) :)

Well i am an impulse buyer so I put in my pre order for the DRS classic .22 600mm synthetic. I have been waiting for a traditional rifle looking PCP and I think FX has hit a home run here. I’m usually a figured walnut fan as I don’t like the black tactical guns younger shooters are into these days and I’m old school I guess but I had a Crown Continuum with the black synthetic stock and I really liked the feel and how light it was compared to the wood stock. I like my guns short too but I’m going with the 600mm barrel to get a little more air capacity and higher FPS and will set this rifle up as a dedicated slug gun. I’ll also get the CF shroud cover that will allow a higher PSI fill that will also give more shots per fill. I have decided I’ll leave off a moderator when pesting around the house so the barrel length will be the same as a 500mm barrel with a moderator. Everything out to 100 yards runs or flys away when I shoot my quiet moderated guns anyways. I’m waiting for more details on this gun like how do you access the reg adjustment? How do you access the hammer spring adjustment? Where Is the plentum gauge? I assume it is on the bottom of the stock in front of the plentum ???

Looks like you will have to remove the action from the stock to make both adjustments. Doesn't appear to have plenum gauge.
