N/A Never seen a moderator clip this bad.

So I whip out my new King today and low and behold I have POI shift. Not a few clicks to correct kind of POI shift, like 2 feet to the right and 2 feet down at 25 yards kind shift. I spent an entire clip trying to get on paper. Then I pulled my mod and took a look. WOW! FUBAR!

Well guess what? My son, who knows nothing about FX tuning, maxed my HST out at 5 while trying out these huge .22 38 grain slugs. So I get back on my light 23 gr slugs and all that extra air most likely destabilized the slug right out of the barrel. Who knows how many dam slugs he shot too. The barrel was super dirty. Anyways, I cleaned the barrel, set the HST back to 2.5 and got back to nice groups.

Sometimes I wanna use that kid as a pellet stop!

Not to get in the way of a retroactive abortion (a man's right to choose and all), but maybe things aren't lined up right and your son just found a flaw? How does the projectile weigh changes the alignment of the moderator and barrel? Methinks to tweak the alignment, drill out that oblong hole to something nice and round, and consider it an improved version after some "real-world testing".
Better yet, make it a father and son project!
Cheers.

Holy smokes!! You guys didn’t have a clipping issue. You had an issue that we need a new word for.
LMAO we'll call is "projectile FUBAR"
Possible the kid double loaded.
THAT WAS IT!!!!!! I just asked, he looked at his toes, and admitted it. Two of the long 38 gr got double loaded. Ok well that solved it.
