So my beautiful Prod by Rich @Airgun-Revisions won me this rifle on a competing forum, while talking back and forth with Rich after I was announced the winner of the regulated Benjamin Marauder, Benjamin themselves got wind that I was using this won rifle as an opportunity to get into field target and I was going to have Rich do the work for me.

Anyways, on Thursday February 8th I got a call from Phillip over at Benjamin and he asked what I wanted the rifle for and what I would be doing with it. Fast forward today and I have what you see here in my hands.

This is not a production rifle and it is THE ONLY sidelever rifle stamped Benjamin Marauder in existence as far as I am told. It is a custom Challenger in .177 built with a few extra goodies to make it achieve the energy level shown , perfect for FT/HFT. Its quite consistent as you can see, 35 shots on the regulator nice and flat. Also has the quite cool custom hydrodip!

I ordered an Athlon Heras 6-24x56 SFP to top it and I cannot wait to get this rifle out and shoot it. Stay tuned to this thread for more updates. I really have to thank the folks at Benjamin Airguns as well as HAM magazine for making it possible.

They used to sell that stock as a limited edition. Several people have converted Marauders to side lever with a challenger breech. My LW Marauder has a challenger/Armada Semi Auto stock. Beautiful rifle!

I am aware they are all basically the same rifle but this breech regardless of rifle it came from, is actually engraved Mrodkt (on the model portion on the otherside)/Benjamin/Marauder I think its a really neat thing! even if it is just a simple detail :D

Nothing taken away it's definitely one of a kind and actually I was mistaken the flag print they used to sell was different. Labeled CH2021FS

Now call them back and tell them to make that breech in .22 and .25 so everyone can quit crying 😂

Yes they are single shot breeches. I suspect it would take some tooling investment to come out with a Marauder side lever breech that takes Marauder mags and that is why they don't "just do it already!"

However, with 3D printed mag designs being so prolific, I would think someone could come up with a mag that slides into that breech.
