Yes, I will use epoxy to attach although I have used Gorilla glue in the past and that seems to be fine also.
Still not attached but placed there for the pic this is what it will look like. Needs a few more coats and sanding in between

Seems i am the odd man out. have always really liked the look of thumbhole stocks and wanted to try one. then i found a almost new Diana 470th for sell rather close by so bought it and took it home pulled it outta the box put to shoulder and HATED the fit and the fact it was like shooting a 2x4 strait with no curves low combed and hard to get an eye though the scope. put it back in the box and never ever shot it to this day. I am sure some of those custom jobs fit way better yet will never know
LEFTY !!!The Von Meistershutz ...” The Truth”
the legend has it that a prince of Sudan had his best gunsmith modify and tune 3 R9’s . One in each caliber. Custom stocks were made by a well know stock maker in the US. This is the .177 model. The .22 and the .20 have not been found.
by the way, they say the Prince killed the gunsmith after he was finished so no one else would have a gun as nice as his.
I stumbled upon this rare jewel thru a mutual friend of Mike Ellingsworth.
Ask me how it shoots!
enjoy
