N/A Does anyone own a PTE Airgun or had a chance to shoot one?

I don't know how long they have been making this exact model, but this is exactly what I am looking for in an air rifle for a bench gun.

NO Barrel Liners
NO Barrel Shrouds
NO Set-screws to hold the barrel in place in the action
Premium - I dare say among the best barrels in the entire world - Stainless Steel Cut Rifling Krieger! Threaded to the action!

The only thing I read that made me wonder was this but below - But for a benchrest gun, a regulated bottle would be the way to go anyway, I would think.

For the time being, the weapons are not regulated. Most sport shooters shoot straight from the bottle with an external regulator. There are plans to design and build a regulator, but realizing that will take a lot of time and research. This option can also be built into existing PTE rifles at a later stage.

Yes i shot the PTE220. It is a high end .223 airgun, built with the best of the best materials and in my opinion in the right hands it can be a winner at 100m benchrest matches. Now i shoot these matches with a Drummen Sinner in cal .223, which is also high end stuff. The PTE is built with a Krieger barrel, and the Sinner with a Lothar Walther barrel and that is different but i think both are excelent. In caliber .223 both are top, but in cal. 308 i would prefer a Beaumont.
We do not use H&N slugs. We use the RWS 41.5 grain .22lr slugs.

Next week it will be .308 🙂
