Sherwood Airgunners winter 25 yard indoor Bench Rest matches will start in December. We will be having 4 matches Dec-March on the second Sunday of each month. So our first match will be December 10, 2023. This is AIRGUN ONLY .177 and 22 caliber rifles. Cards are scored with a .22 caliber BR plug. Foot pounds must be 20ft lbs or below. We shoot 3 categories, Spring Piston, HEAVY varmint 20ft lbs max and LIGHT VARMINT 12 Ft lbs max. You will shoot three 25yd USARBR cards that are accurate for your match score. As per last year we will have a King of Sherwood Bench Rest award that will go to the winner of these categories with one change, your top 3 scores will count towards this award so if there's bad weather or you couldn't come to a match you still have a chance to win. Lunch will be provided and you will have to reserve a lane by contacting me before the match. We will have 3 start times, 10:00...12:00 and 2:00. I believe we have 7 or 8 lanes per heat but must be reserved in advance. Only if there is an available lane can we offer that to a walk in which sometimes happens.
