The process doesn't take long, but finding the right tune for the specific projectile in your specific conditions can. If you're happy, thats great. But it can take a lot of trial and error, I don't think I'm making it sound difficult. Even tuning a rifle with only one regulator with the hammer spring can take time. It really comes down to the expectations of the user.I tuned my M3 in about 10-15 minutes, and it's my first and only M3. Just follow the steps, shouldn't take more than a magazine, maybe part of a second. For pellets of course.
I've owned a Maverick, I've been there. It was my 6th PCP, and I tuned all of those with the exception of a Charlie Frear Cricket that arrived perfect.
