Agreed, sparrows and starlings would attest if they could, to how deadly the CPHPs are sub 50 yards. I simply refuse to shoot these vermin with premium pellets. I learned the lesson the hard way... I went through 3 tins of Air Airm 16 gr. pellets in four nights of decimating roosting starlings at a local dairy. Same thing when ratting, prior to this I fed them JSB Exact Jumbo 18.13s Now they all get fed domestic lead. The funny thing is none have returned to complain about the quality of their last meal. Sub 50 yards they simply perform for me, if going after woodchucks? I do step it up to the Exact Jumbo 18.13sNicely done!

I tuned “Tiny” to shoot them at 698 with TP on high to use at the dairy. I’d like to shoot them hotter but I am restricted due to the fiberglass roofs In the barns.
I’m more in line with Tiny, the Atomic is at 724 fps with the TP on high, for just under 17 FPE. You and your pesting partner with your astonishing numbers on the pigeons? Prove that supposed ”low power” is very potent indeed, the poor Brits who are constrained to sub 12 FPE. Do quite well at that power level on pests…
