I got a new Athlon Talos scope for my Cricket and sighted it in with the Crosman pellets and they shot pretty good with some wind this morning at 50 yards, had a couple fliers but I can live with that....:)
Shot the last group with a clip full....14 rounds

I like my crosman cphp pellets and also my talos 3x12 mildot ( non ir).

One of my things i day in my group threads id with crosman you can count on getting "the one". You know the one pellet that blows a great grouping ..lol

Anyway looks like your using a good combo there ..

Enjoy

I decided to break out the scale, do some weight comparing between the old packaging and the new: not as far off a weight spread between the two,.007 also not many damaged /deformed pellets, only 8 out of both tins. The lead is harder with the Crosman's opposed to the JSB'S. I did weigh a tin of JSB 15.9 and the weight spread was greater. 012 than the Crosman's. I found more damaged / deformed pellets 14 in one tin of the JSB'S. I only had one tin of each for my weight test, but the results are compelling, but far from definite. If I competed in tournaments, or a pro pester, weighing would give more consistency no matter the brand. head size is also a factor. I don't have a pellet sizer, maybe someone that does could do a comparison? for me, and the general target shooting & RNFT that I do, the Crosman's will have a spot in the ammo stash, but not exclusive. I like different grain weights for different conditions, and distances.

The cphp can be iffy in sizing. This tin im shooting now seems a bit more loose or tight ones the average.. then seems i get that one tin like out of 10 thats that way..

One thing ive not got in a long while is the floor sweepings filled tin.. lol.

Thay must have Swiffer'd down the place with Ballistol! :D

just bought 4 tins of the new wadcutters Match grade to try out . should be here Wednesday ??? maybe?
Ashame they dont sell the wads in stores anymore.. use to get them and domes as easy as the hollowpoints or the othets that you really dont want .

Just seems the wads and domes now are a mail order only thing today here for me ..

All I can say about the Crosmans are they are available, and they are not great, but they shoot “decent “ and if you lube them they shoot a little better. However they are consistently inconsistent, but on the other hand when I’m shooting cans and don’t care about 1/2 inch groups I can not think of a better pellet for the job. They are what they are and if you don’t expect too much they are glorious .

Shoot fine for me as good as h&n overall. The difference was pretty marginal.. ( i think i got side by side threads on that ) especially at 1/2 the cost and walk in all day everyday Walmart..

Anyway foung this old picture of a floor sweeping tin.. it eas the old pre covid premier tin not the " airpower" tin of today.

CPHP shoot as good as any pellet out of a few of my guns but as said there's always 1 or 2 fliers..plenty good for pest control or punching paper/cans.
For the money cant beat them, Ive got 15-20 thousand in cabinet now try to buy a few tins each time I order from Amazon.

With the CPHP'S being readily available at Walmart, and that I hate to go to Walmart, I implemented a 2 tin CPHP tax if I have to go. I call it crazy compensation tax. I bet I have over 100 tins of the 500 count. I think that the family has thrown the tea in the harbor, I haven't been to Walmart in over a month. I tried sorting them into weight categories
