I am not planning to be changing parts.

If the rifle shoot good pellets, then pellets will be shot with it.

If the rifle shoots good slugs, then slugs will be.

I am not planning to push the power to the limit. I would be happy with accuracy. I have other powerful rifles for bigger hunting.

Many years ago I had a Bobcat MKI in .30 Cal. That rifle had intervals of one week functioning an a month in reapir because of leaks. A mess !!!

But when the rifle was functioning I always thought that a rifle like that one in .25 Cal would be very attractive. That Bobcat ended in the waste basket.

"Apparently" the Panthera is very accurate if in the mood of functioning correctly.

Today I chat with the distributor of FX in Mexico and show me this configuration of the Panthera: not long and a lot of shots per fill. Then I decided to give it a try.

This rifle is supposedly to be very accurate at long range. That is the seller advertising. Soon I will have the chance to confirm if it is true with this rifle what I have observed in regard of all other hammer and spring trigger mechanisms: variation in the vertical axle at 200 yards.

If there's one rifle that SHOULD NOT follow that rule is the Panthera.

Let's see......

But yes, as I said in my first post of this thread, there's a risk of just having bought troubles.

Really doubt it will happen....

But if it happens, that would mean that the Panthera is indeed a super rifle and that my bet was a good one notwithstanding there is very small gain margin.

Matt Dubber is serious and apparently the Panthera is really accurate. Let's see if FX made a lot of tries in order that Matt could test a good panthera or of it is the general rule.

As an official theoretical detractor of FX Meccano shooting line, I know I will be very critical in my way to judge this rifle. So, if I get to say that this Panthera is really good rifle it will indeed be so.

If the Panthera is indeed accurate, then whenever there's no wind at all, I will make some comparing groups with my must accurate rifles, in other we can se which one is reality and which are just advertising.

If the Panthera does not work or the accuracy is far away from expected, then I will just recognize my mistake of giving it a try and have put money where there was nothing to gain.

Initially an Athlon Midas HMR SFP. Absolutely reliable.

With that scope I will be able to know if the rifle is accurate or not. Later on I can use any other scope.
