I have to DRIVE 1 HOUR TO FIND SHOOT THESE SUCKERS…AND HERE IS ONE CASUALLY WALKING…

Turkey? They walk out in front of me on the back highways all the time. Fast buggers. Don't provoke them either, they'll kick the crap out of you relentlessly. Know someone who spent a week and a half in the ICU when he was 17, beacuse he thought he could hand catch a full grown Tom. It broke free almost instantly, and spurred him for almost a mile back to his car. He would've bled out had someone not seen him in his car slumped over at the trail head.

I commend him for his giant balls and fact he actually snuck up on a turkey.

They are EVERYWHERE in urban areas!!! In fact they stroll through my backyard sometimes. I don’t like to eat Turkey and they don’t do any damage so they get a pass. On local bike path I often have to slow/stop for these suckers to avoid bad crash/great physical harm m, especially during mating season.🤣

True story: I actually had to slam on my brakes and still clipped a Turkey…..on my local 5 lane(1 side) FREEWAY!!!!

This one seems to approve my target box/trap after thorough inspection. 😳

Buddy of mine at work responded to a vehicle accident. The kid involved said a turkey flew in his open driver side window and bounced around in the cab scratching him all up until it flew towards the half open passenger window and busted it out. Buddy wouldn't have believed it if not for all the scratches on the kid and busted passenger window.

Hunted turkey 1 season. After a lot of searching finally flushed one. Dang thing sounded like a 747 taking off. It was a big ol Tom but couldn't shoot it. It was just to majestic to kill. Never hunted them again. That was in the San Bernardino mountains CA behind lake arrowhead. I know we've got them around here somewhere but haven't really investigated where.
