Clean pass-through on standard size soup can with 15.89 jsb hades.Any guesses on the energy at impact? Good enough for squirrels at that yardage ? MV with the hades is 681 fps ....

If you told me the distance of the can I could give you energy at impact since you know muzzle V and the jsb hades BC should be published somewhere.

In the thread description 70 was to mean 70 yards lol...
I'm guessing about 6.5 but that's a guess and my fps of 681 was at the muzzle

Yes it actually amazing what a pellet will do. My Hw90 22 shooting 16gr AA will pass though a cheap piece of 1/4 plywood at 100yd . I limit myself to 50yard for hunting.

I may blast away at paper out to 75 yds with my springer
However I keep my range to max 40 yds for hunting

I’ve done the same thing. Only I fill the can with water. I figure if a pellet will go through all that. It’ll go through a squirrel. It’s a quick and easy way to determine your maximum effective range. With out knowing your FPS or FPE.
