My lady asked what I wanted to do after work(like usual)
I said I want to go shooting,...you wanna go?...

She said, Sure,, I'll go

I don't give a dang if it blowing like crazy; we are going shooting today!

SOMEONE is going with me for once!

...it's been ages since I've shot with anyone.
I have been getting my lady used to shooting with the bugAsalt. She enjoys it; time to step her up

Figure I'll grab some pistols and easy mechanical slingers(she's watched me tinker for hours on end so she has an idea of how they all work).

bah I'm stoked! Now for the rest of work

How FUN! Have only shot with SWIMO a few times.....she is a south paw and shoots well but shooting doesn't float her boat...

Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Grabbed what is in the first pic plus another case for the 1100SS. I just picked some at random so that we had more range/teaching time.
Showed her what I brought and let her try them all. I made sure the bring some easy/medium/hard mechanisms to she what she could actually function(she is very petite)
Only way she could get proper eye relief on my setups were to have the shoulder stock almost up ontop of her shoulder(pictured)

gotta start her in some direction.
She didn't like the slingers with recoil. But liked the ones with little to none(some I loaded for her just to try firing bc she couldn't, like with the p17; I'd load it she would shoot and repeat.
We were out there for 3 hours

She ended up liking the Buck BB repeater and the p17. (gotta work on her trigger discipline but her safety discipline is on point, also taught her about basic weapon safety more)
First target pic is her with the buck at 50ft
Spinners I was shooting at 35 yards
Last pic is me trying to get a different scope sighted in on my 1100ss.

Also found out that I can be more accurate at 50 yards with my 880 than my 1100ss at 50yards

Can you smoke?
I mean you ARE outside?...
I use the smoke and ashes as wind indicators

Awesome!! Still working on getting mine to try the shooting part and not just be my spotter, especially since she's the one that bought me the Huntington Beach R7 .20 I want to teach her to shoot airguns with. Yes, I am most definitely keeping her

I just so happy that the lady finally wanted to partake AND had fun AANNDD said she would like to continue trying/learning.

That's amazing. Were I in your boots, I'd set the hook by getting her one of her own.

(The wife-to-be was very impressed when I bought her her very own Arai Super-Light helmet before our first ride together.)
