Was at Fred Myers. Walked by this tiny cast iron pan,
and then, it hit me. What a great target. Turned around and grabbed one. Probably will get two more. $7.99

I'm using them at 40 in my backyard with springers.Sweet, that'd be perfect for 500 yards.
I tried that, the Mrs. got a touch miffed.pro tip: larger, square cast iron pans filled with duct seal make great indoor pellet traps
Inches, feet or yards? With my Nitro it'd be feet.I'm using them at 40 in my backyard with springers.
My wife gives me the ones that she is going to throw away. I never use new ones.I dunno...
I've always thought of frying pans as sort of sacred. After all, they're used to make things like cornbread and salisbury steak.
But that's a good idea! I just remembered this. It's 3" across.

THROW AWAY???? they need to be properly seasoned, it can take decades to get them really good.My wife gives me the ones that she is going to throw away. I never use new ones.
I'm real cheap when it comes to something I'm just going to shoot at.
So.. Spend decades to season them. Or a few days to blow them all to Hades.THROW AWAY???? they need to be properly seasoned, it can take decades to get them really good.
The ones I cook with have been in my family fir at least 125 years. Three frying pans. A square skillet, and a Dutch oven. Also still have the cast iron meat grinder and sausage press.THROW AWAY???? they need to be properly seasoned, it can take decades to get them really good.

I'll bet the vittles fixed in them are VERY TASTY too. All that history just seeps right in.The ones I cook with have been in my family fir at least 125 years. Three frying pans. A square skillet, and a Dutch oven. Also still have the cast iron meat grinder and sausage press.
Unless they get warped on the bottom, no longer flat. Then they are about useless for cooking especially on these new fangled glass top stoves.THROW AWAY???? they need to be properly seasoned, it can take decades to get them really good.
By far the best cooking utensils if taken care of and properly seasoned. I'd bet there's a couple hundred years in mine.I'll bet the vittles fixed in them are VERY TASTY too. All that history just seeps right in.
