Question in regard of accuracy.

Every airgun, and for that matter every barrel, shoots differently. Sometimes accuracy depends on even what batch of pellets it is...so you have to experiment, and that is wht I try to buy at least a sleeve of pellets at a time so I know they came in the same batch.

Both, depending. Everything usually needs tuned to some extent to find it's best performance. Sometimes a good barrel and regulated pressure will shoot multiple slugs or pellets with the same reliability. Other times it takes trial and error finding the right match for both, changing slug style or diameter within the same weights, polishing the bore, etc, etc. Don't discount heat, atmospheric pressure, humidity, how the gun sat in the case or against the wall in the cabinet, and any other outside influence on the gun, which all matter some days, and less on others.

Just came out to shoot and was able to hit a stone the size of a small marble at that distance. Of course, wind had not started to blow yet.

For many of you, that accuracy may be normal, but for my skills that is what I always wanted to achieve with an air rifle.

Now let's hope that these rifles do not develop troubles. Just time will tell.

I’m watching your experiences closely. I’m really interested in this rifle (Sidewinder - probably in .30 cal) and I really appreciate your sharing the details of your journey.
