I have a UTG Bug Buster 3-12x32 AO scope I like it a lot. Question: the magnification adjustment ring 3-12 when you go to change adjustment it doesn't have instant engagement, it has some I guess I would call it "slack" in the ring? Is that the norm??

. Its the only scope I have the last one I had was over 40 years ago so I was just curious. If I had to bet I would have said it's not the norm to have about 1/2" slack before it "grabs".

Not normal, but likely for a $2 scope.
Of the 5 UTG I have owned, the bug it the only one that still works.
Face it, China, you have to spend a lot of money to get away from them.

mine does the same, however my older 3-9 bugbuster did not do that. other than not being sure if the magnification is true it hasn't been a problem.
