Woodchuck Down

I caught this guy sneaking around behind my shop. At 50 yards I put a .30 Hades 44.75 grain in his left eye. He went straight down!

Tastes like chicken?? I also caught a groundhog out of his house today. He didn't look nearly as healthy as yours as I think he was pretty old. I walked around the shed and there he was 20 meters away. He gave me the offhand shot, I took it, now he's in groundhog heaven.

Taipan Veteran .22 "Sniper", FX Hybrid slug right below the ear...it was a bloody scene!

Central Upstate NY here and yeah . . . the chuckies are back! I've yet to nail one ( busy @work and the weather still Jekyl & Hyde'ish ) but . . . I'm hoping to pop my first one soon. @peaceful_ruler - nice on the Taipan. I've gotten LOTS of 'em with mine over the last couple two or three years - .22 long, H&N .217 23g slugs in the low 920's.

Zach ,hello. Nice set up(s) & good shooting ! I'm up to 10 , 2 w/Hatsan Factor & the remainder w/ the FlashPup . The Pup loves the H&N 217, 27.5 gr.s . The Factor was first w/ JSB 15.89 through the shoulders & a few days later Hades took another one down . The Factor just doesn't like any slugs ( yet) that I've tested . It is a bit unwieldy in the field anyway. Keep it up !
