Cleaning up morning backyard shoot

The Starlings and Grackles were out in force this morning in my part Oklahoma City. Shooting was quite brisk. I decided to break out the P-Rod (.22) for the larger/tougher birds. That little "carbine" is spot on and deadly. A joy to shoot. The neighborhood Possum came waddling through the yard along the back fence where the expired birds lay. I didn't have my camera with me, but I knew her route (I know it is a female because I saw her leading her young along the same path last year) and went into the house and caught her coming over the fence and ducking into the bushes in front of my neighbor's house.

We have grey foxes, raccoons & opossums in our backyard each night and they like to come up on the deck and check for a snack. They love chicken. I was lucky to get a morning pic of this beautiful grey!

Had a female and her two lil snots that would steal tomatos from my garden.. I set out solar motion lights around the garden and that kept them out of it.. but if I left a mater on the picnic table they ate it😊
