Objective Bell too close to the shroud?

Have not had a chance to try this setup due to rainy weekends, but honestly it's better if I ask before I screw something up.

Anyone know if a PCP's recoil could cause the barrel & shroud to come into violent contact? Obviously I would not try this with a springer 🙂

If you want to use a scope cap, it's a non starter.
All other scenarios, you are good to go.

If it worries you, use a set of adjustable rings to get your objective off of the shroud a bit, and adjust for zero with the rear ring.
Yeah I tried putting the scope cap on and could not fit it. I believe the thickness of the scope cap is .7 or so mm last I checked. I'm using .82" rings so if I go to .85" that's about a 7mm difference so that might work.
