Shot with .22 Cricket crosman hp's at 40 yrds. He came out early this evening, I usually don't see them during daylight hours.

I'd rather shoot rats than squirrels, now that all my pecans are gone, I'm trying to leave the squirrels alone to reproduce for next years pecan crop.

I have 4 game cam's around and never see rats .
AHHH ! finally figured out what the big bore rifles are for , RATS in Chicago sub way tunnels there is 5 and 6 pounders down there .

When your train was passing the Pulaski/Lake stop that's where I lived (4 blocks North, in the Chicago Ave/Pulaski Rd area) from 1955-1985.

After seeing this with my trail cam, I bought a pardnv scope. I killed 2 or 3 a night for a couple of weeks. Now I might see 1 a week, I got greedy and wiped them out.Holy moly! You are going to have a LOT OF FUN!

If there were that many rats in your immediate yard, wiping them out is good… I Love killing them, but would hate to have them in my yard.

The guy that lives behind me has chickens and rabbits, so the rats are coming from his yard to mine for the feed that falls out of my feeder. I wish I had more to shoot at!
