Peri helped me tune , zero, and test my new to me Huben today.....

With the passing of my late dog Lola, Peris sister, Peri has been more like glue than ever so I decided it was time to start training her to hang out with me at the range. She is fine around noises, shooting, etc but I have never actually taken her down there with me , so today I did.

Anyways shes a far better shot than i!!!, but first impressions with the huben?!?!?! OH MY FLIPPING GOD!!!!!!!!
Please carefully inspect those time stamps. This thing is not tuned aggressively and it is hammering those 33.95s with authority! The shot group is an entire 17 round mag rapid fired at 50 yards , that shot group coincides with the chronograph readings shown, let that sink in for a bit..... the rifle and air tank also sat in my car all day at sub 30 degree temps.

I may have found my new favorite rifle but time will tell, this thing is just..... HANDY. It is ergonomically amazing, light, the trigger is actually just under my Taipans as far as awesomeness goes, it is crisp, predictable and light. Loading may be a bit tedious without being able to just slap a new mag in but its very easy to load the rifle (with a bipod) . It is also extremely quiet for not having a suppressor, I also got a very, very good deal on it as it has some cosmetic aging marks on it, little nicks, scuffs in the anodizing but nothing that stands out wildly.... anyway on to pics.

She's a walking example of the old saying "... cuter than a speckled pup"!! Well, don't know if it's a saying anywhere else but it is here in Kentucky 😄.

Now I want a blue heeler. Cat is giving me the stink eye.

Excellent shot string!

Same saying here in Ohio, at least amongst the crowd that I grew up with.

Now that I think about it, my township is kinda like North Hazzard, and we got a Rabbit Hash gal up here too....leastwise that's as she claims.

When I was a sprout, the saying went that Troy is exactly how far 5 dollars worth of gas would get you from Kentucky ....;)

She's a brute. She's 50 solid pounds. They're purpose is to heard animals 20 to 40 times their weight, they gotta be rugged
Hearing about it is one thing, but seeing that little machine on the move was impressive! Ruby, the female, killed a gnarly old timer groundhog, a raccoon, and a basket full of snakes.
Sharper than a tack, meaner than a cornered badger, and cuter than the Gerber baby.

Beautiful cattle dog man.

Mine is 18 and hasn't decided she's done yet.

I think you'll be well pleased with the Hubens. My first one was a used .25 to explore the platform, love them. Any problem I*'ve had with them is operator induced. I've three of them now a custom .177, a .22 and a .25. I've talked to Kelly about moding one to .30. Kelly said that it would be difficult, ie. expensive, the whole feed mechanism would need to be redesigned. I'm hoping Tommy manufactures one. Now that would be a fire breathing monster.
