I'm just curious what does "Deleted Memeber" mean? How do you become Deleted?? Inquiring mines want to know

I wanna know what happened to some of the members like Yo... he had like 8000 posts in one year of time and then just vanished. That always seems weird, unless something happened which I guess we'll never know

He took people's money and vanished till the smoke clears. Not the first time he's done it.
He also ordered a boat load of equipment from Crosman using the AGN discount and then resold it. Crosman then cancelled the discount.

THAT should have been a trip to a chipper. Although it might help keep things on the straight and narrow if there was a brief explanation next to the name besides deleted. JMHO

I haven't purchased/sold anything here but always thought to myself if I did I would make sure it was a long time member with a few posts. I guess that theory isn't as solid as I thought.

Also seen if & when a member closes there own forum membership. There posts stay onsite with no attached member.

Deleted member ... not sure its fair that feedback exchanged is pulled etc. 
Just recently did dealings with an AN member having a fire sale in a manner of speaking in the classifieds. Feedback okay yet eager to drop prices with some duplicates - in a hurry to unload. I pitched an offer and accepted by the seller. Not even a day and 'deleted member'! Feedback received - removed. No PM communication now. Based on searching on deleted member reasons, oh cr@p ... did I just get scammed? 
Next, how the heck to get in contact with a moderator to at least find out the general reason. Why do moderators only respond to 'report' but not via the sites contact? 
I found out from other postings that 'report' has a better chance and, that is indeed True. Anyway, this member chose to close their membership because of obligations. Between my PMs and the moderators response ... sigh of relief for the most part. 
Still, I'm rolling the dice because I'll get whatever shows up and that is the end of it - good or bad.

Does anyone know Prophetganda? I bought a gun from him, or at least I think I did, I’ve got a tracking number and it’s moving this way. When I go back to the original ad, it says deleted member. I asked him about it and he said he had no idea. Needless to say, I’m concerned, it’s supposed to be here Tuesday, hopefully I didn’t get burned. He had 12 positive scores in his feedback, seemed legit to me.

Same here. Haha. I bought the BullShark project rifle he sold. I had a deal with him a few months ago and it went great.
