This morning I inadvertently touched a spot on my iPad and it logged a vote for something and have no idea what it means. The photo shows the red circled area in question. Did a search to try and learn but was not successful. Can someone fill me in ?

It's to upvote that particular post...although I'm not sure what happens once a post/thread gets enough votes...maybe that post becomes the featured post within the thread or is marked as the best solution/answer to whatever question was asked.
Don’t feel bad. I mainly use an iPad on this forum and accidentally touch the screen every now and then. I’ve flagged the innocent and had stuff pop up that I had no clue what it was. I even liked something I disliked. Had to gamble on how to take it back.
No, just to the right of the post #, there is an up arrow looking thing-a-bobber, click that to upvote that particular post. Interesting that the original post in each thread doesn't have the option to be upvoted.
And does anybody know what happens when any particular post gets enough upvotes? Does Michael get out his chisel and etch it letter by letter into the AGN Hall of Fame???

And while we’re at it. The picture below shows to circled items that appears now and again. I’ve clicked on them and there’s always a bunch more than 10. Any ideas ? Life was so much easier pre- internet.
