Krait price

Damn, I hope it’s cheaper than that when it gets stateside 😳

Most airguns in South Africa are marked up to stupid levels. So the price here isn't any real indicator of what it'll cost in the USA or Europe.
That retailer also has the habit of charging whatever they think they can get.
A uragan king costs $3280, a bronze Delta Wolf $4428 and the Red Wolf heritage $5807. Very occasionally you'll find something reasonably priced, like the last batch of edgun leshiy 2's which were the same cost as Europe, and the Vulcan 3 which is inexplicably selling at just over 2/3 the cost of the uragan king, despite our local currency being much weaker than when the uragans were brought in.

Anyway I've ordered a few guns from krale because of this and saved anywhere from 20-30% even with shipping and tax. Their main competition is even worse.
The FX guys (Patriot) are generally only a bit more expensive than international prices thankfully.

That markup could easily be taxes. I know that a $40,000usd car in the U.S. will cost over $250,000usd in Malaysia...taxes.

The shipping costs and taxes on these things are pretty well known to me and while I can accept they make for increased cost vs some regions, in this case it doesn't explain it. In particular given the massive price discrepancies between otherwise similarly priced guns, imported by the same distributor and often arriving in the same shipment.
With cars, yes it's a similar situation here - the taxes add a catastrophic amount to the purchase price vs the US and Europe.

Anyway I've accepted it as simply the way things are here - my post was purely to illustrate the fact that the krait will likely be much less expensive in the US.
