My Ataman uses a free floating barrel, as well.

I managed to add a Picatinny rail to my Ataman m2r ultra compact synthetic stock. I used a tabletop drill press and the rail and screw kit available at MidwayUSA and other sites. If anyone wants advice, please let me know.

I like the bipod mount you added. I have a synthetic stock on my ultra compact, so I'm not sure how best to add a mount. How did you add yours? Since it's wood, in guessing deep-threaded tapered screws...

Just wondering, do you need parts due to a leak? My ultra compact just started leaking slowly; it's dropped from 300 bar to almost 160 in a couple weeks.

I know my magazine needs pushed from closer to one end, in order to seat it properly. But, since I can't afford an extra mag, I just leave the grub screw tightened. Does anybody have experience with adding a bipod mount to the synthetic stock on the M2R ultra compact?
