Was having the same problem, magazine wouldn't index, had even sent back my 3 spare mags. thinking this was the problem...called Straight Shooters where I purchased it for help, they gave me this link and told me to see if this fix helped....PRESTO..mag indexes and I can load the next pellet.BUT...

I tried this and it works, but like he said you need to get the hang of it and that isn't simple. I liked to empty my tank getting the trigger set.
