Yes they are hard to cock..... It will require less effort if you follow my method: When cocking used speed to over come the cocking effort, instead of pulling slowly, use sort of a "pop" instead of a "pull" I hope this works, because the Huntsman is a really nice shooting well balance PCP...

I have a Daystate Hunter XL Regulated in .22 cal. I shoot it almost every day. I like to have it ready to go. I shoot ground squirrels off the back porch. I keep it full of air, but not topped off, needle just inside the green. Empty chamber, not cocked. Will this condition harm the seals, etc??
