Nightforce ATACR vs March Optics FFP scopes

This. Low weight and parallax down to 10 yards and great glass on the March. I have the 3-24 x 52 with the FMA-1 reticle. I don't have a ton of experience with a lot of scopes, but I don't think you would be disappointed

Newb's First Post Washington State Airgunners

Yep, The range is about 5 min from my house. I took a skeet class at kenmore one time. It seems like a good range as well

Newb's First Post Washington State Airgunners

If you want to target shoot the Issaquah Sportsmans club is a good place. 25, 50 and 100 yd ranges. Nice folks and range. The Daystate generates lots of interest. I spend as much time talking about it as shooting

Fill Scuba Tank in Washington State?

Lighthouse dive centers do 4500 psi fills. There is one in Tacoma. No dive card needed. I'd guess there might be something closer, but if you get in a pinch they should hook you up

    Questions from a newbie.

Adventure Sports up in Lynnwood used to have some air rifles. Haven't been up there in a few years so not sure if they carry anything anymore

    Daystate Saxon

Congrats. You are going to love it. I've only had mine out to about 25 yards. I love the trigger and as you might expect it shoots lights out at that distance. I'm having a bit of an air supply crisis, but once I get that straightened out, I'll stretch it out a bit more.

    Daystate Saxon

I have one. Haven't done much more than mount a scope on it and get pellets on paper, but hopefully will get to the range this weekend sometime. So far I love it. Shoulders well, love the grip and trigger and seems quiet enough for backyard use

Should have never bought a SWFA scope

I have a deposit down on a Saxon. It will likely go somewhere else in the future. Over the top, I know, but it should be a bitch'n set up

Should have never bought a SWFA scope

Just bought the same scope. Still waiting on the rifle. I'll be curious to see how you like it. If you feel like dropping more coin, March UK has March labeled rings w/ 11mm dovetail. Looks like they are made by Tier One.

    What is standard deviation?

Standard deviation is the square root of the variance. Variance is the average of of squared difference from the mean (average) of all your data. The calculation changes slightly if the data is a sample of a total population, but in this instance you are calculating the entire population (your...

    Daystate Magazine Fit

Thanks. That's what I figured, went online to look at some pics and most were like that. Mine is pin left, magnet right. I may see if I can return it for one in the correct orientation

    Daystate Magazine Fit

I recently purchased a Daystate magazine for use in my .177 Airwolf MVT. The magazine will not sit flush in the receiver. It pops back out about 1 mm or so and will not advance. It will sit correctly and cycle if pressure is applied to keep it in place. It looks like the magnet might be...

    Let's talk Kevlar or Dyneema!

Did a quick test on some 1050 denier ballistic nylon. Two layers stopped a .177 JSB Exact 7.33g out of my Airwolf. The second layer did have a bulge in it, but the pellet did not pass through. I'll likely add another layer or two, or maybe try a layer of Dyneema to see how that works. I...
