[WTS] Benjamin Armada (with upgrades) package

I've got a Benjamin Armada .22 with a few upgrades. Alpha 6 4.5-27x50 scope, Luth AR MBA-3 butt stock and a pretty cheap bipod. 3d printed focus wheel and changed the pistol grip.. Installed a custom depinger (not just pvc tubing) and pulled the lawyer spring so the trigger is a two stage dream...

Are pellets like bullets afa stabilizing after fired

Truth be told, I haven't "technically" been shooting groups. I'm just putting dots the size of a sharpie point on cardboard and shooting at those. Trying to regain some muscle memory. (It's been a few years since I've shot in earnest).. I am using a scope set pretty low. But to set up a table...

Are pellets like bullets afa stabilizing after fired

Right now. Trying to sort through.. .22 JSB Hades 15.89gr Crosman Premiers 14.3gr RWS Super Field 15.9gr H&N Hornets 16.2gr and I've got some JSB diabolo heavy's at 18.3gr. Which I assume are the ones designed for distance. Having better luck with the Hades and Premiers. Some caveats...

Are pellets like bullets afa stabilizing after fired

Thanks for that starter explanation. Me thinks me needs a chronograph..

Are pellets like bullets afa stabilizing after fired

Honestly I know next to nothing about slugs from air rifles. That's possibly the next topic of research. I guess what I'm asking is if some pellets are designed with extended ranges in mind and therefore don't perform as well on shorter (inside 10-15 meters) ranges. It's possible I'm just...

Are pellets like bullets afa stabilizing after fired

Been shooting an Armada at 10 meters with varying results. It got me to wondering if, like long range bullets, it takes some yardage for pellets to stabilize. Some powder burners won't perform well at close ranges but tighten up nicely once they stretch their legs.. Just wondering..

Tuning How low can I go?

Sounds like it'd be less expensive than a regulator. More research necessary on that one. Any idea which way, o rings or regulator, would be less fiddle intensive? Time is a pretty big factor. Man I miss my Anschutz..

Tuning How low can I go?

Thanks for the heads up. That was going to be my next course of action. I think the main question is if its possible for the Armada to be competitive in that arena. I dont have enough experience with it to know if a) it can attain that level of accuracy b) if itll hold up to the torque of...

Tuning How low can I go?

Hey All, Wanting to get back into 3p air rifle but don't have the cash for another Anschutz like I had a few years back. Right I'm limited to my Benjamin armada and would like to tune way down to maximize shot count. Just wondering if anyone has Done anything similar and if so was it still...

    Anyone in CT

A guy I work with shoots at Glastonbury. He says 3rd Sunday of every month, March through September, they're going to do NRL22 matches. Not sure about the AR factor though.

    Alpha 6 owners check in!

Just received mine today. Initial response is OK. Elevation turret is mushy as all get out. Windage somewhat less so. I do prefer this reticle over the standard mil-dot that resides on the Armada currently. Won't get to do a legit side x side til this weekend but overall we may have a winner. ...

    Good glass and side focus

Those are some really valid points. I've seen that happen with certain runs of binoculars over the years. Scopes too as a matter of fact.. So I went ahead and ordered one. Was considering trading a Ninja air tank for one (alpha6) but still not sure I want to part ways with it yet. Pumping is...

    Good glass and side focus

So my a.d.d. kicked in and now im thinking of working on the performance of the rifle first, then picking up the scope. I will likely get the alpha6 but first up a regulator and h.d.d. Maybe a Walther barrel but the stock one seems to do ok. I do appreciate all the input from you folks and am...

    Good glass and side focus

That's really good to know. The package deal Centerpoint on my Armada now is actually impressive for what it is. But A) I know there's better and B) ya gotta try different stuff. Wondering if I can get a side wheel for the 4-16x56. That'd make a huge difference.

    Good glass and side focus

Thanks for the interest.. To answer some questions.. 1st or 2nd FP? It used to be I'd get a better quality 2nd fp scope cheaper because ffp was more expensive to produce. Not sure if that's still true.(?) Honestly, I'd don't have a preference yet as I'm just getting into airgunning. Have to try...
