I wanted to bump this up with one additional question - Is there any additional tuning that you do with the transfer port wheel? Or is that one that never really gets used?

I was doing some testing outside with my Streamline .22 and got surprised by a small scorpion. The close proximity air blast from that rifle returned that scorpion to the atomic level. There was no sign of it.

Is there a concise guide to regulated PCP airgun tuning out there anywhere? Preferably something written rather than in video format.

Is there any good guidance on the right size to start with? For .22 there's .216, .217 and .218 at least. There are even some with finer graduations between each size. Some of the rifles I have were purchased used. The Impact X, a Streamline and a Royale 400. They're all older but I'm not sure exactly how old. The Crown MKII was a recent purchase. I think the Crown or the Impact would be the most tunable for slugs if I want to pursue that. I'm still gathering...
