i totally agree, that being said i didn't expect the Crosman's to deform being a much harder pellet than say the JSB's coming out of a low power platform

funny enough ive just done some 40m testing this morning .22 sub 12ft/lb though....still surprised with the expansion as id assume it would only be 6-7 at 40m & would have thought that they would just plink off..

Crosman ultra Mag 14.3gr or jsb Jumbo 15.89gn both seem just as accurate at 40m for me. maybe a Bisley magnum 22gr if I feel like re-zeroing my scope they are also accurate but loopy flight.

the crosman pellets have quite impressed me with their deformation on hitting targets at 40m due to their light weight i wouldn't have thought they were carrying enough energy. crosmans on the left JSB Excat on the right they obviously super deformed and splintered

are all of the premier branded ones made in America even if they don't have the badge on the tin?

another Crosman "whats the difference" question. i keep seeing Crosman pellets named " Premier Domed Ultra Magnum" and " Premier Ultra Magnum" both .22 14.3gr is there a difference or is it just new packaging?

I thought so as well for a non leaded barrel... not sure with these groupings if it's worth paying an extra £8 per tin of JSB's over Crosman..?

Managed to get out in the rain and strong winds (enough that i had to go and catch the target a few times as the sellotape wasn't holding) today new gun day and all. here's the first 60 pellets through the barrel in 5 shot groupings at about 28 meters - sub 12ft/lb Crosman Premier ultra...

I also like a louder airgun when plinking lets others now what I'm up to for their safety, had some interesting results using some of my old airsoft sound amplifiers instead of the moderator. :sneaky:

re-tried the hades in my hatsan NovaStar nope just not happening, Wadcutters fire better over 30m! Air Arms Diablo seems to group well and i had decided to stay on those, But I've just taken delivery of some ZAN .177 slugs 10gr, and wow a quick couple of mags and I'm seriously impressed...
